| Registered Builder |
A person who holds an accredited building qualification and after obtaining a
professional experience of FOUR years, has passed through the
prescribed procedure and is registered as such by the Council.

A Building Graduate after obtaining a professional building experience of
four years minimum passes professional procedure conducted by CORBON including:
- Submission of application through CORBON online Registration Portal.
- Certificate of experience evidencing professional competency profile.
- Completion of 20 Continuous Professional Development units.
- NYSC certificate or exemption certificate.

Holder of a title of “Builder” or related professionals approved by Council
from internationally recognized Building Councils or institutions that passes
professional procedure conducted by CORBON including:
- Submission of application through CORBON online Registration Portal.
- Submission of certified true copy of recognized Building Council certificate
(e.g., Chartered Builder, CIOB, Professional Builder) and academic transcript.
- Submission of evidence of membership or certification from an internationally
recognized building institution e.g. CIOB.
- Completion of 20 Continuous Professional Development units.

- CORBON accredited B.Sc / B.Tech in Building.
- HND in Building + CORBON accredited PGD in Building, with 2 years certified post-PGD experience.
- HND in Building + CORBON accredited B.Sc / B.Tech in Building, with 2 years certified post-degree experience.
- HND in Building + M.Sc / M.Tech in approved building related field with 2 years’ post-Master’s experience.
- B.Sc (Science) + M.Sc / M.Tech in approved building related field + 10 years certified postgraduate building experience and not less than 50 years old.
- Advanced National Certificate (ANC) + B.Sc / B.Tech Building.
- CORBON Registered Technologist with M.Sc / M.Tech in approved building related field, registrable after one year of certified experience post-Master’s.
