Eligibility Requirements

Category:    Registered Building Technologist

Description:   A person who holds a CORBON accredited HND Building qualification, its equivalent or Advanced National Certificate (ANC) + PGD in Building and after obtaining a professional experience of THREE years, has passed the prescribed procedure and is registered as such by the Council.

Eligibility Requirements:

Direct Absorption Academic Qualifications
Pass professional screening procedure conducted by CORBON including:
  1. Submission of application through CORBON online Registration Portal.
  2. Acquiring a minimum of 3 years relevant professional experience in building.
  3. Evidence of completion of 12 Continuous Professional Development units.
  4. Professional competence as evidenced by the certificate of experience.
  5. NYSC certificate or exemption certificate.
 Pass professional screening procedure conducted by CORBON including:
  1. Submission of application through CORBON online Registration Portal.
  2. Submission of Technologist Membership certificate of the Nigerian Institute of Building.
  3. Submission of copies of relevant certificates.
  4. Evidence of completion of 12 Continuous Professional Development units.
  5. Professional competence as evidenced in the certificate of experience.

HND in Building from CORBON accredited Polytechnic or Monotechnic with minimum of 3 years of professional experience.

  1. HND in Building from CORBON accredited Polytechnic or Monotechnic with minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
  2. National Diploma (ND) or Advanced National Certificate (ANC) in Building
    + Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Building.
  3. HND in Building Technology from accredited Foreign Tertiary Institutions.
